Art x Surf Retreat – São Miguel, Azores

We paint at high tide, we surf at low tide. On the north coast of São Miguel island, this retreat brings together two very different rhythms: the stillness of painting and the pull of the ocean. Over seven nights, guests split their days between oil painting workshops led by a professional artist and surf lessons adapted to every level, with plenty of room left to explore the island itself, its hot springs, its volcanic trails, its quieter corners, guided by a certified local guide who knows exactly where to take you.

The whole stay is all-inclusive, 3 meals a day by a private chef, all transfers, activities and excursions, so you can unwind from the moment you land on the island. You will be staying at a cosy eco-lodge within walking distance of the two main beaches on the north coast, built for exactly this kind of pause.
