The Regional Surf Circuit Esperanças 2026 kicks off on Terceira on January 30 and February 1, at Ribeira de Santo Antão, with young Under-12 to Under-16 surfers from the Azores.
The 2026 edition of the Regional Junior Surf Circuit, sanctioned by the Azores Surf and Bodyboard Association, kicks off on Terceira Island on January 30 and February 1 at the mouth of Ribeira de Santo Antão and is locally organized by the Terceira Surf Association.

Registration fee
25€ per category (athletes who participate in two categories must pay two registration fees)
Waiting list
After registrations close, a waiting list will be created in order of arrival, upon contact by email with the organizing club.
Athletes on the waiting list:
Do not have seeding rights
Only enter the competition in case of vacancies or no-shows
Applies only to the 1st phase of the competition, with no changes to the defined bracket
Entry limit
There is no maximum limit on the number of entries.
In case of exceptionally high participation, the AASB may apply exceptional measures in order to ensure the competition is completed within the maximum limit of 10 hours.
Participation per category
With the exception of the Top 4 in the previous year’s ranking, athletes may only compete in one category, which may be their age group or a higher age group.
