Azores Surf Center

The Azores Surf Center is a local surf school which aims to provide a friendly, personal and professional service for those who want to learn to surf or improve their surfing skills. Both Josephine and Ricardo, along with their team of dedicated instructors want people to experience the fun of surfing and to enjoy the natural environment as much as they do.

We are committed to informing people about how to look after and respect the ocean environment, by organising and participating in beach cleanups and taking part in educational initiatives such as ‘No Ocean Plastic Week’ and ‘International Coast Clean-up Day’. In 2026 we are partnering with the Turtl Project to recycle our old wetsuits and introduce more sustainable wetsuits into our surf school.
